About me

From a curious 2017 side project to shipping at scale

I found programming in early 2017 and never really put it down.

Guilherme Vecchi

In early 2017 I discovered programming and dove straight in. That took me through a Full-Stack Web Development course at BloomTech and, shortly after, into a full-time Software Engineer role.

I kept studying while working — finishing a B.S. in Software Engineering at Western Governors University alongside a full-time engineering job. These days my time goes to two things: building software and my family.

What I care about most is the part users actually feel — the seconds shaved off a flow, the interaction that finally makes sense, the legacy code that stops being scary. That is the work I look for.

What I can build for you

How I help teams and companies

Select a topic to see what that looks like in practice.

01Custom Software Development

Internal systems designed around how your business actually operates — CRM platforms, operational tooling, inventory and reporting systems. Every engagement begins with your existing workflows, so the result is software your team can adopt without disrupting the work already in progress.

02Web & Mobile Applications

Customer-facing web and mobile applications built to current standards for performance, accessibility, and responsive behavior across devices. I take the work from interface design through to production deployment and handover.

03Frontend Performance

Measurable improvements to the flows that carry revenue. On Breeze Airways' booking funnel I reduced completion time by six seconds; the same profiling and optimization work applies to checkout, onboarding, and search.

04Integration & Automation

Third-party API integrations, service-to-service communication, and automation of repetitive processes. The goal is to reduce operational overhead and remove the errors that accumulate when routine work is handled by hand.

05Legacy Modernization

Incremental migration of aging codebases to current standards, sequenced so feature delivery continues throughout. The outcome is stronger performance, lower maintenance cost, and a codebase your team can extend with confidence.

06Ongoing Support

Maintenance beyond release: dependency and security updates, monitoring, and issue resolution. I take on ongoing engagements to keep systems stable and performing as requirements change.
